In order to prevent bacterial growth that could potentially cause odor, skin irritation, or infection, we treat the absorbent layer with the Antimicrobial AlphaSan® RC 2000 additive. This antibacterial technology has been widely used for its performance in sportswear for many years. It incorporates silver sodium hydrogen zirconium phosphate, code EC No. 422-570-3, a biocidal product that can be used in the EU.
